If you try to put for example this link like remote file: https://mega.nz/file/LYJmffjB#BRx28BRx2BRx2BRx2YwnaSfA1sgKt7cTb It doesn't let you save, if you do it by database the icon disappears, also the versions, multi categories and tags also get bug, if you do a change a save didnt save
This is the example of the post meta:

{s:3:\"ext\";s:3:\"zip\";s:4:\"size\";s:3:\"N/A\";s:4:\"hits\";i:0;s:7:\"version\";s:0:\"\";s:4:\"file\";s:50:\"https://mega.nz/file/LYJmffjB#BRx28BRx2BRx2BRx2YwnaSfA1sgKt7cTb\";s:10:\"remote_url\";b:1;s:5:\"state\";s:1:\"1\";s:9:\"file_tags\";s:0:\"\";s:7:\"canview\";N;s:16:\"file_custom_icon\";s:0:\"\";s:24:\"file_custom_icon_preview\";s:0:\"\";s:6:\"social\";i:0;s:19:\"file_multi_category\";a:0:{}s:23:\"file_multi_category_old\";s:0:\"\";}'

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

Please ensure that your URL is publicly accessible and select the correct file type when adding a remote file in the plugin dashboard.
We’re unable to access the URL you provided (see attachment). Could you please double-check?

Cheers,

Hello,
Yes that’s was only a example but don’t matter if the url is wrong, or the plugin have a url validator?

I think the problem is this one solved yesterday in the addon and not the pro.

Download URL not working when the file title contain slash chars

Also i try with just https://mega.nz and the same happen, The URL should be free even if you don't put http or https, that is, the field should be open to any text in case you also want to put a #gotothissection
