Limit access to your WordPress media with WP Media Folder

If you want to restrict every user to access the full Media library and see his media only, the media access by user is for you. You, as a WordPress  administrator, can select a root folder where all users' folders will be stored. A folder name corresponding to username will be automatically created.

The other option is to use the media access limit by WordPress use role; this is the best choice if, for example, you want to give permission to several users with the same user role to the same media. A root folder will also be defined or automatically created, but by user role (Author, Editor...).

WordPress' users that have the same user role can see files uploaded by others (if allowed). So, we've added an option to filter the media library by user own media only, and that's just a one-click On/Off button.

The option to remove a folder with its media is pretty handy to clean up quickly the media library. It's then possible to remove a complete folder with sub folders and all media inside.

WP Media Folder is easy to use, allows a media to be replaced by another one. This is very handy to update a media all over the website without even opening a page or a post. Of course, all image thumbnail sizes are also regenerated and updated!

Of course, the WordPress administrators (admin user role) will have the full access to see all folders and media, including cloud ones in the Media library. Admins also have the possibility to display only their media.
