Using tags to narrow image gallery results

I have a photography website (SantaBarbaraPix.com) and as the number of galleries is increasing, I want to offer visitors a way to narrow their results instead of having to scroll through a large number of photo galleries. They are built using EventGallery (https://www.svenbluege.de/) and I'd like to find a solution to do this without having to get into custom code. See screen shot attached. I'd like to have all the galleries visible when they arrive to the site. Then they can choose a YEAR and/or SCHOOL.... etc to narrow the results.
