Hi, I'm looking for a solution to offload my uploads directory from local to S3. I have already offloaded a big portion in an S3 folder under my bucket , but those images are not served anymore as they are broken (hosting provider change)
Can WP media folder restore the broken images (they are already in S3 ) and continue offloading the remaining folders to the same location? In the screenshot you can see that it is stopped offloading in 2022

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

It's not possible in your case, because the files on your server will be remove after offloading to Amazon S3.

Thanks for replying , that is the intention indeed, I want the files to be removed from the server after offloading ,

So let’s say the folder 2018 is empty on my server as the files are already offloaded to S3 previously by another plugin/ custom script

Now I want the folder 2022 also to be handled by this plugin and to be oflloaded to s3

The library will see both folders in S3 as they are all under the same bucket

I understand from the documentation that this is possible , is this correct?

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me with more information.

Yes, the folder on server will be empty once the Remove after upload option.
It's not possible to select a specific folder to offload in WP Media Folder currently.
Once you use S3 or other offload platforms, all files will be uploaded to the cloud.

Cheers,
