Lazy Load WPMEdia Folder galleries

Is it possible to add Lazy Loading of thumbnails to a WPmedia folder gallery? It can take 20-30 seconds for images to start loading when you have a lot in there. Enabling Lazy load through other options/plugins doesn't seem to have any effect on my WPMedia folder created galleries. In my case I'm connect to OneDrive so I'm assuming that could be the issue. Any thoughts on how I can do this/what I'm missing to enable faster loading?
