Hi I am using WP Media Folder connecting to CloudFlare R2 right now , I have two wordpress sites , one site uploaded the whole media library perfectly ,
but another site the media files not all images in this media library are stored in wordpress/content/upload path , 30% of the images are linked to media library through external links , they are stored in something like Yupoo or Flickr
So if I synchronize the whole media library with R2 , will WP Media Folder skip those files or fail ? Cuz they are not actually stored on the local server

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

WP Media Folder will skip files that are externally linked. The synchronization process only handles files physically stored in your WordPress uploads folder,
so external URLs won't cause any issues or failures.

yes sir I tried on a test site , I uploaded 50 external links and 50 physical pics , it sync well
but when I tried on my official website , I am not sure if my library has too many files , it just stuck at 0% , it's like 20k external links and 30k physical pics

0% of your Media Library has been uploaded to Cloudflare R2
Synchronize Media
0%
0%

I've set my PHP max_execution_time up to 1 hour , but it still stuck
