Hello, I have a question regarding WP Media Folder and Cloudflare R2 integration.
I have a large number of images that need to be uploaded to Cloudflare, and I prefer to upload them directly via the Cloudflare API. However, WP Media Folder currently cannot use images stored in Cloudflare R2 unless I run the option “Import all the folders and files from Cloudflare R2 server to Media library.”
The issue is that this option actually downloads and stores all images locally in WordPress, which I do not want.
I only need WP Media Folder to detect and list the images from my Cloudflare R2 bucket as remote files, without copying them to local storage.
My question is:
Is it possible for WP Media Folder to read/recognize the files inside a Cloudflare R2 bucket and allow using them in the media library without importing them to local storage?
If not, is there a roadmap or alternative method to support remote-only media from Cloudflare R2?
Thank you.
