We have a Google Photos account with many albums. We also have a website that has a photos page. Currently all of our photos upload automatically from our iPhone to Google Photos.

We want to display the Google Photos on our new website's photos page.

How does WP Media Folder work please?

Specifically, are our Google Photos copied to our WordPress Media Library, or do they remain with Google?

There is one album that has 4 or 5,000 photos that we want copied to our WordPress media library.

Is this possible?

Thank you

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out about integrating your Google Photos with your WordPress website.

Yes, WP Media Folder can help with this!
When using our Google Photos integration, you'll need to import your images/albums from Google Photos into your WordPress Media Library through WP Media Folder.
This means the photos will be copied to your WordPress site (not just linked from Google).

This is definitely possible even for your larger album with 4-5,000 photos - you can import them all into your WordPress media library.
For detailed instructions on how this works, please visit our documentation page:

Let me know if you have any other questions about the process!

Cheers,
