Hello.
First of all, congratulations on your excellent plugin. It's amazing what it can do.
Before purchasing the full version with all the add-ons, I'd like to find out if it's possible to hide the upload option for a folder with content. I just need collaborators who upload files to be able to upload only files, not folders. Folders can only be created and uploaded by the system administrator. We'd like the subscriber relay to only see the option to upload files. Is this possible?
I look forward to your response.
Thank you for your help.

Hi,

Thanks for the kind words about our plugin!

Users can upload folders or files through the frontend upload form or category view. You can control which user roles are allowed to upload using our permission settings.
For your specific needs: folders can only be created from the backend (and only if users have the right permissions), while file uploads can be restricted by user role on the frontend.

You can find detailed setup instructions here:

https://www.joomunited.com/wordpress-documentation/wp-file-download/666-file-access-and-management-limitation#toc-manage-personal-user-file-repository-2

This should give you exactly the control you're looking for!

Cheers,
