Our business requirement for our client is to notify users (via email) when certain files are uploaded. It seems like your plugin does this but I wanted to clarify how you control who gets notified when a file is uploaded and/or changed? More specifically, how are the contacts entered into the system and how are they managed? We would need to be able to have users opt-in via sharing their email address and then they'd be on the list to be notified. Thanks for any clarification you can provide.

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

You can set up email notifications per category - notifying admins, category owners, file owners, or specific email addresses you enter.
Plus, we're working on a feature that will let your users easily manage their own preferences!
They'll be able to subscribe or unsubscribe from notifications for specific categories or files using a simple shortcode - just a few clicks.
We're excited to release this in the near future. We're also expanding these options to support additional user roles, which should give you even more flexibility.
