I wish to have a frontend image upload and edit using droppics integrated with JCE. This setup would be used by numerous non-related clients. How do I set up access restrictions that would limit access of an individual's images by other non-related parties. In other word, I want only the images uploaded by the client to be seen by the client when editing his post. Can I accomplish this with Droppics and Joomla 5?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

You can definitely set permissions for users to access Droppics on the frontend, though they would currently see all albums.
Limiting users to only view their own uploads isn't a feature we have right now, but we really appreciate the suggestion and will keep it in mind for future development.

Thank you for the reply!
Any suggestions about how to modify Droppics to accomplish this? Files that would need changes/modifications?

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me with more information.

Unfortunately, this isn't something we can support directly through modifications.
I'd recommend submitting a support ticket at Menu Support > Support ticket
so our development team can review your specific use case and explore potential solutions for you.

Cheers,
