We are using Joomla 4 and assigning tags via article doesn't save the tags for the article. Does this extension allow assigning of tags to articles within the extension or does it use the tags from the Joomla DB.

You can display tags on the frontend using Tag transform. Tags can be taken from Joomla tag, K2 tag, Zoo,...
